dumb advice here to isolate the issue to the radio or the wiring.

unplug the radio, replace the fuse, turn ignition on.

fuse still good? then your radio is the problem
fuse still blows? then your wiring is the issue

the accessory connector under the seat is also connected to this fuse. make sure it's not gounding out there. easy checks before you start chasing down wiring.

I had a similar issue. Turned out it was the wiring harness in the fairing. There are two metal uprights on either side of the fairing, the one on the brake side was wearing through the wires as they came out of the harness housing. Taped them up. Fixed. Good luck.

Similar issue. Did not see the wire sheathing worn away but I notices there was a small arcing pattern on the metal frame. When I turned the wires around I found the bare wire.

Willie...if you are blowing a 15 amp fuse, you can bet your *** that you have a direct short to ground. The positive voltage line is touching ground potential somewhere. It's possible that short is inside the radio...but I would doubt it. Do check your battery terminals for cleanliness and correct torque. Is the voltage gauge in the faring reading normally? Good luck finding that short.

If it just started happening after you changed the battery, check all the wiring and harnesses near the battery. Chances are you disturbed a wire or harness somewhere and now it's shorting out. As the previous posters mentioned, check for insulation chaffing to the frame or brackets. Follow the wires as far as you can as maybe you pulled one too tight somewhere "down the line."
