I see the issue being that Harley Corporate put the limitations in place to people from buying bulking and then turning around and selling the stuff as a competitor to local Harley dealers.

Personally I have no problem with Lake Shore sticking to the rules. However, I'm not crazy about Harley cracking down on the online dealers. But I can see (sort of) why they did it.

As for Lake Shore, I just ordered the SE Ventilator A/C at a discount and rather than it taking 7 - 10 business days to receive, it took 3. Very pleased with the transaction.

Default order cancelled

Just had the same thing happen from Kutter HD, I bought too many filters and they cancelled my whole order. Interesting.... I thought it was wierd they cancelled the whole order! Why not just refund the filters, apparently HD deams this a breach of thier policy and wacks the whole order. Not blaming the dealers they have no choice.

I get the $2.98/qt. 20w50 motorcycle oil and Walmart. They sell me as much as I want.

All 10 of my motorcycles run great on it along with 89 octane gasoline. I blow the savings on entertainment.

I have had nothing but good experience with LSHD1. I did try to order 8 pints of fork oil. My buddies and I were going to have a fork oil changing party. ha. Bill called me and said that he could only sell me three pints. I appreciated him calling me. My buddies had to get their own fork oil.

I'm very, very happy with the service and prices I get from LSHD. Anything I don't mind waiting for, I just order from them.
I experienced the exact same scenario. But even if the shipping had remained, with the flat rate of $9.99 I was still saving cash compared to any other online dealers I've found. I've been very pleased with LSHD.
As an aside, I support my local guys as much as possible, but sometimes we're talking about $triple-digit savings, so what can you do?
