Danny Gray Airhawk long haul seat

I was set to buy the Longhaul without the Airhawk but was hesitant because I had never tried one out. My local dealer had one of the Drag Specialties demo bikes on display and it had the Longhaul Airhawk. Glad I was able to try it out. This thing was hard as a rock. The Airhawk feature did not help either. My wife sat on the back and she said it felt like sitting on a board.

The Air Hawk is designed to be soft - by blowing in or letting out air - to make it soft when sitting on it - kinda feels like just 1/4 inch of air (or even less) when seated on it, and each air chamber (of many) allows the air to move chamber to chamber to give your butt a new feel when you slightly shift your butt location
BUT when NOT sitting on it it will feel VERY under inflated - all floppy - essentially 0 psi until you sit on it
so the hard one you sat on was way over inflated for showroom purposes ... too bad - the air hawk can work real well ... once you get "your" proper air pressure selected
many here swear by Air Hawk - I use mine after a couple of hours on the road - makes it like a whole new seat
I can't vouch for the Danny Gray seat version though
