I have the same color and bought a pint each of DBC base and mid colors. I maybe used 1/4 of the base coat and maybe 1/8 of the mid coat. I also put DX57 in the base coats. I've been told that it helps set the pearls in the tri-coats. Don't know how true that is but, I do it anyways.
I just got mine done. My painter had to do mine twice. First time was to pink and the second time was very close and looks good. I found this out that to paint 2 layers of the base and 3 layers of the midcoat. I had the ppg global and doing it twice i used about half of a pint. The other is for sale
I think its pretty darn close, but a hard color to match. That gold flake in the paint is hard to make it look like it coming from Harley.
Looks nice! Which bars are you running? I'm putting new bars on so I figured while its apart paint it now. Do you have enough paint left to do an inner?
I am running the WO57. Yes out of a pint you could do 3 inner fairings from the looks of it. I have 50% in each pint yet. You have the right idea while its apart

Is that a WO 578 ????
I'm getting ready to have a set installed on mine. Send me a PM if you would and let me know what you are looking to get out of the rest of your paint, then I'll double check my painters price as well.
I just went with a +4 clutch cable. Everything else was plenty long. Wiring through the bars was pretty slick by just pulling out the wires from the connectors and feeding them through. Have not rode it yet, but I love the feel of them
From what I learned on the ember red sunglo is when you paint it use 2 coats of the base and 3 coats of the mid. Than at the end put a layer of clearcoat on. Gets very close. I found out just 2 coats of the mid leaves it to pink
