If your interested.
Looking to trade or sale my front 21" mammoth fat spoke wheel. It's on the bike in the sig pic. Wheel is approx 1 1/2 years old. Has avon tire. Good tread.
I'm looking to go back to 19".
Will trade for a new/used 19" enforcer.
Or sale. Wheel and tire combo was 1000.00 new without rotors. Reasonable offer could get it.
Selling because I am vertically challenged.
Wheel currently rides on 2007 roadglide.
Should fit any touring or basically whatever bike you have. It is only a matter of changing the bearings and spacers, and rotors if you have newer than 07.
So I have been told anyway.

spoke rims are definitely the retro bad a$$ look. but they are not fun to clean. i would go with ride wright instead of dna. ive had a dna for a lil over a year and the finish is coming off and the spokes started rusting around the nuts on the rim. i had to paint around the edge. i clean the wheels regularly. the only time i ever let water sit on them was at sturgis this past august when it rained. there is some spoke rim cleaners that help with water spots on the center hub that you cant get too

I have a 21" on my Softail that I have had on there for about 8 years and it looks just as good as the day I put it on. Very happy with this wheel. A little heavier than stock but looks SOOOO much better.

I am considering going to fat spoke rims when I change out my front tire. Lot of good advice on particular brands & customer service.
What are the pros and cons of either staying with the original 16-inch wheel or going up to 21" ?

Default Stay away from ridewright

Steer clear of ride wright wheels. For the price you pay, you don’t receive a pristine product. This is the second time I’m sending them back due to quality of powder coat and scratches in the finish.

Both manufactures have their pros and cons , not many other options . Been hearing more bad stories of Ride Wright not responding .

Default Fat spoke wheel manufacturers

Hey thanks for the reply back I appreciate it. I made up my mind and I already purchased a rear fat spooked wheel for my '04 FLHRCi through mototek.com. The website is very user friendly and they are American made to order and they are guaranteed by warranty. You can pretty much custom make any kind of spoked wheel you desire including the different types and colors of spokes.
Hopefully I won't have any issues and won't have to see how good their customer service or their warranty is. But I like the fact that now I can ride tubeless on that wheel.
