Default Removing wires from pyo monkey bars.... Don't ask

Well looks like I'm pulling wires back out if my 10" yaffe bars. Having tbw issues so must have a pinched wire. Has anyone pulled the wires back out? I'm guessing its gonna be hard bc the hard bend is now at the end. Can't push as easy anymore. Are the wires going to come out or not?

never had to pull them back out, I'm sure they will come, if pulled hard enough, you may damage the ends, and have to repair that part. what makes you think you pinched the wire?, I am thinking you may have wiring mixed up? I've done 5 or 6 of those pain in the *** bars fyi!

You might as well spend the 100 bucks and buy the updated throttle sensor with out the green plug. Thats what I ended up doing and went much easier. When I pulled the old sensor out the wires were destroyed. I could not get all the wires through with the plug setup so I bit the bullet and bought the new one. They had it in stock. Hope it works out for you.

I went ahead and cut out the green plug when I wired mine. It was the only way to get all the wires stuffed in there. Besides, the green plug fell apart during disassembly.

I already cut the green plug and soldered to start with. I'm getting limp mode after startin and revving 3-4 times.

YES, I've had to pull the wires out of 10" MBB's. MUCH harder pulling them out then it is to run them. I used shrink tubing and it all got shredded pulling wires back out. Wiring was OK and I did have more shrink tubing so that was OK. But damn was it hard pulling the wires back out. Sorry, I know that is not what you wanted to hear.

Limp mode? Are you sure it's not a coincidence?

I've heard many say they removed the green plug and soldered. As I'm not an electrician I was uneasy about somehow affecting current flow, resistance, etc. on my throttle. I did what Titan said and bought the SE TBW sensor. As much as I was saving by doing it myself, and as hard as people told me the wiring job was, it was money well spent.

Hope it's relatively painless for you. If it helps, I found running the wires the second time pretty easy.

Did you check the pins in the molex connector where it connects in the fairing like I said in your other post? That will cause that if you have a pin that is not pushed all the way in or is bent.

Well we got the wires pulled back out. I poured about 1/3 bottle of dawn down the hole first so I may bubble going down the road for a while. One of our connections was found to not be soldered well and it had come apart. Put the connectors back on before rewiring the bars and did a couple test runs and wallaha everything working again. Now tomorrow we are pulling wires and attempting round 2. Did you guys have quite a bit of resistance when trying the get the tbw pushed in all the way or do I need to pull harder on the wires at the bottom? Just seemed like last time everything got bunched up under the switch housing and made it a bit tight.
