Default Hard Saddle bags for Road King

I have a 2003 Road King Classic and I want to put on some hard saddle bags. What year(s) will fit on an 03 FLHRCI and will I need to make any modifications to get them to fit on the current mounts for the hard leather bags.

Thanks for the help!

They should just fit with Minor ajustments to the Mounts for alignment purposes.

I think it is the 94 to current that will fit and the only adjustment may be to the brackets on the bike to line up the holes for the pins while the bags are on the bottom bar. The toughest part or most expensive any way will be getting the paint to match if you don't find themin correct color.

The hard bags I bought were off of an '05 Ultra... They fit no problem... I did have to have them painted tho... Check with KT here on this forum, he has hard bags for sale every now and then.

I just put a set of hard bags on my 03 FLHRCI was pretty simple but you have to take the spacer off the rear pin and get shorter screws for the brackets. I also had to open the slot where the screw goes to get the pin to line up. I have to tell you it sure changes the look of the bike though.

I also did the opposite thing...From hard bags to leather, it just needs minor adjustments on the saddlebag brackets.
