You didn't / can't fulfill your goal of 'deep bass' in the fairing, but you'll have a decent sound....

Sound systems are usually a trade off....... you have to be willing to forfeit 'something' for good audio

I have some good bass out of the 2 6" JL subs I have in the bags BUT it is virtually non existent at highway speeds and very minimal at slow cruising speeds. They do sound sick when parked and the bike off. If I had to do it over I would have gone a different route. Not sure what, but different
