well, in reality, the rake is pretty much preserved. the lower profile of the 18 only slightly raises the rear end of the bike. i think it works out to about 3/8''. don't think that is going to make much difference in the big scheme of things.

Maybe a 1/4 " because the tire sidewall will be shorter on the 19"
Go look at Avon's site and compare tire sizes!!

using a tire size calculator, this is what i came up with:

these are all stock dunlop tire sizes, other brands may (will) be slightly different.

front
130/90-16: 25.21 diameter
130/80-17: 25.19 dia
130/70-18: 25.17 dia
130/60-19: 25.14 dia

rear
185/65-16: 25.47 dia
180/55-18: 25.80 dia

remember to halve this difference for the radius to give you the height difference. and interesting to note, the 16'' tire is actually the tallest of them.

and the rear tire actually raises the rear by .165''. so hardly noticeable

I was going to buy my agitators and rotors online to save some money and hit my local small cycle shop for tires but ended up buying every thing at New Castle Hd. saved on shipping costs and running around and they installed the bearing kits and mounted tires and rotors for free because I bought it all there.
