always a good idea many to choose from in all different price ranges. My FLHX came stock with an oil cooler. lot of people like the oil bud, some like the reefer, and theres always the jeggs fan assisted cooler. Many to choose from just do a search on the forum and you should have enough reading material and suggestions to last you a 1yr or 2

What is your riding style? If you do a lot of in-town riding consider a fan assisted cooler. If your not into the throttle, easy riding, touring then one of the typical sized coolers will work. There are coolers advertised for high performance engines. I have a 2009 SG with the HD premium oil cooler that works fine for me. The oil cooler does little to nothing to cool oil riding in in-town traffic. You need to get the MPH up to flow air over the cooling fins to cool the oil. JPCYCLES.com has a number of different cooler suppliers and a good source to see some of the different styles. Stay with a name brand cooler designed for your model bike.

I went with the Reefer2 for my '09, which is fan assisted and works pretty good for me. Whichever one you choose, try to see if they have an anti-rotation device to prevent the adapter from moving when changing filters. This makes oil changes less dramatic down the road...

Do any of you guys with the Oil Bud cooler know if it fits along with a FBI chin spoiler on a 08 SG?

You don't need an oil cooler.

If your current set-up is the stock configuration then there is no reason why it would not. http://www.hotbikeweb.com/tech/1003_...n/viewall.html
