Default Trip to FuelMoto

Thinking about taking the ride out to FM to have the 107 installed. For all those that have made the trip; do you have any suggestions as to...

Route of travel from the N/E
Places to stay/eat
Things to do/places to see
Ride up or trailer? If i ride up are there things to do/see/eat within walking distance?
And how long were you there for?

Stay at the comfort inn and suites and make sure you visit docs Harley. They do the job overnight. Bring your bike in the morning. Pick it up the next morning! Awesome guys and a good trip.

+1 on going to Docs. Plenty of places to stay at this time of year. I am about 2 hours South of there. Right now you could bring some gear and fish on the big lake!!!!!

No chit. I'm waiting on a response from them. Totally unrelated.

Did it last May. From MD up through Michigan and into the UP. Lots of good riding up there. If you want to skip Chicago and Milwalkee it's the way to go.

My thoughts exactly! I'm in Milwaukee and I just went out to smoke a cigar and look at the Harley and my drink froze up before I got to finish it (guess it needed more booze)!

I just ordered my Power Vision and air cleaner combo from them today. I am thinking about riding up when it gets warm to have them install a cam and Jackpot duals. I think that would top off my set up. I have Rinehart 4" slip ons in the box waiting to be installed also. Just need some warm weather...

I live a few mile from FM's shop, I would be willing to answer any questions you have about the area.

if u ride in chicago traffic sucks,2 ways to beat it up north through the up of michigan,or the ferry to milwaukee,it is expensive, but a huge time saver.this summer is the 110th in milwaukee,or they have summerfest (worlds largest annual music fest) thats if u want to spend a few days.and as said don't miss docs hd.
