I put one on my 04' Ultra and it did make a difference. My buddy has an 06' RG that came with a black one that he changed out for chrome.

Wouldn't be without one on a bagger. Leave it on all riding season with no overheating problems. Like another said, used to be standard until they realized they could charge and get extra for it.

I have a pretty high performance high compression 95" bagger & I run the baffle all year round, it has never caused my motor to run any hotter than normal.

I put one on my 06 SG to try and direct the air from coming up through my legs and hitting me in the chest and helmet. Seemed to make a little difference and I don't think it would make the bike run hotter, cooler if anything.

....since it redirects the air down towards the front of the engine instead of up through the center of the forks.
h-d found the the riders overheated, not the motor. that's the reason for it been taken off, i've been told...
