Default Switching baffles in Jackpot mufflers

The right and left mufflers have different sized baffles in them. Has anyone tried switching them to reduce the sound level. The rightside is 2.00" and the left side is 1.75". I get a drone now inside the helmet. I know they sell a quiet baffle for 79.95.

Best bet is to call and speak with Jamie. He will advise you on what should be done to eliminate the drone.

Mine is about 2600-3000 rpms and I LOVE IT!

Our mufflers do not have 2.00/1.75 baffles, they use the same cores however the left muffler has an anti-reversion cone. I would not recommend swapping them left to right as this will affect performance negatively and can damage the muffler due to heat. For best info and options you can contact us at 920-423-3309

If they have different sized baffles, it's because someone was tinkering with them. The "dyno-tuned" muffler has a 1.75" diameter (?) and is bell-shaped on the end; Competition muffs are more wide open (2" diameter?), with a maybe a 1/2" outer rim.

1) Get dyno baffles for both pipes;
2) Get earplugs
3) put stock mufflers on

I've got the 4 inch dyno tuned Jackpots and I love them.

I did buy the Quiet Baffle and find it's perfect for those times you just aren't in the mood for loud(er) exhaust, i.e., long trip. Throw the quiet baffle in the right side and you're good to go. Want to quiet it down even more? Stick the insert in the quiet baffle and your're down near stock volume.

It's like having three exhaust systems in one. Great set up.

I had the same issues with noise..the jackpots were fine when I had the stock header with the cat in it. But when I went to V&H power duels with no cat (and a se255 cams) it was tooo loud....I called Jamie and got the quit baffle with the extra quiet removeable insert....I almost never use the extra quiet insert, and now with the new baffles it is about the same loud as it was with the original cams and cat....but I must say at times I do put in the extra quiet insert when I just want to cruise in peace and quiet...with it in the bike sounds like stock..
