Default 103 Big Bore vs Stock 103

Are there any differences between a 96 w/ stage 2 over Stock 103.
Only thing I can see is, maybe; Cam 255/259e, SE aircleaner....

Thats it. A stock 2011 or newer 103 uses the same cams as the 96, a 103 Stage 1 is just cyl and pistons to increase to 103, a 103 Stage 2 is cyl , pistons and cams

if installed, a "big bore kit" would do well to include compression releases as well as pistons and cylinders

I believe the flatop cast pistons in the stage 2 kit have alittle more compression than stock 103? 9.6-10?

+1 on the releases. I swapped out my stock heads and put on some 2012 take-offs with ACR's. Big difference if you have the 103 BB.
