Default Highway / cruise / crash bar pegs

I am looking to add highway pegs to my engine guard soon so I can stretch out on longer trips. I can't decide between just strait pegs off of the clamps or get some kind of adjustable mount like the HD 360. I am a fan of the idea of having different riding position options but not so much of a bunch of crap hanging off the side looking like some kind of demented antlers. Although I am more of a function of form kind a guy. Anyway, I am tall long legged at 6'4". For those tall riders that have the adjustable mounts, are you able to find a happy position where your pegs effectivly provide a couple different positions? Would stirrups help? Comfort is my main priority here.

I have the adjustable mounts, set up so I can rest my heal on the boards (with the 1" extensions from HarleyGoodies) and my toe on the peg or move my heal up on the peg. Works great for me and I don't think it looks bad at all...

Most definitely look into adding FB extensions (i.e HarleyGoodies) and the HD 360's aren't half bad w/most options for adjusting. I'm 5'11" and started w/HD long-angle, but didn't like the look (stuck-out too far) so switched for short-angle and they work great. Also, check w/your dealer on exchange options, if these don't work for you...good luck!

You will want the adjustable pegs for sure. I Put mine on and then spent several days fine tuning exactly where they felt best. Having the ability to put them in just the right place is worth the price and any demented antler issues.

I have just clamps and pegs on my engine guards, at 6'2" they work for me and look good.

Both the angled versions and 360 adjustable mounts work around fairing lowers, right?

I'm 6'4" with a 34" inseam and I ran mine straight off the crash bar. They work fine for me.

I think you will find that most people our height, I'm 6'4", like pegs on the crash bars with just basic clamps, is perfect location. I have mine as low as I can get them. I can put my heal on the boards and toe on the pegs or, to stretch out put my foot out on the pegs. very comfy.

See this is what I was thinking. It seems when I sit on it and imagine placement I "could" reach a basic clamp with my toe and my heel could still reach the floor board.
