Yea, what he said!
Lots of people do the multiple oil thing.
When I did my 1K service at the dealer, I had them do a synthetic service. When I did my own 5K service I just did Mobil1 engine oil. Now I'm ready for my 10K service and am pretty much wondering the same thing since I need to drain all three holes.
Good luck!

I just serviced my bike today:
Mobil 1 V-twin 20W50 in the motor
Redline shockproof heavy in the trans
Redline V-Twin Primary in the Primary
I like that I can get Mobil 1 at any auto parts store if I'm on the road and need to top off.
The redline shockproof heavy in the trans is recommended by Baker for my F6F
this is my first try with Redline V-twin primary.

HD Formula Plus in the Primary, SYN 3 in the Motor, and Redline Shockproof Transmission Fluid in the trans. I have used SYN 3 in all 3 in the past, but it seems to be a waste of money putting it in the primary. This is the first time using Redline in the transmission and so far I've ridden it two days and it's smooth as butter. By the way around here the SYN 3 is only a buck more per quart over Mobil 1 so I just buy that since I have to get my filter at the dealership (I refuse to use other filters! YouTube the cutaway videos if you want to know why.)
