Cool Street Glide Exhaust

Have a 2012 Street Glide. Would like to get a "True Dual" exhaust system with a crossover. Any suggestions guys?

"True Dual" has no crossover- a crossover is a pipe through which the headers are connected

a true dual is 1 header and muffler for each cylinder.

a system with a crossover would be a 2/1/2 ( like stock style) where the 2 headers from the cylinders merge into 1 chamber, which then splits into 2 headers for the mufflers

or a 2 into 1 - 2 headers into a chamber with 1 muffler

Perhaps you can rephrase the question to get a better answer.

There are alot of products out there and you can blow $100 or $1000

Vance and Hines make top notch products (True Dual and Powerdual). Also, Fuel Moto has top notch parts, and service. Depends whether you want to keep your stock look or not. FM 2-1-2 headers re-use the stock heat shields, and come in stainless or ceramic coated in and out.

like mkguitar said, 'true duals' are two seperate pipes - one from each jug. check out MGS

2-1-2 are pretty popular and the V&H powerduals put up the same numbers on my build as similar builds with 2-1s. These exhausts have a collection chamber or crossover section, like an X or H pipe in cars/trucks

I think Bub sells a TDX header that crosses under the frame. Take a look at this.

Default True Duals

Have you looked into the Vance and Hines Power Duals? Very Nice pipe and the power chamber on the side will increase back pressure to give you more low to mid range power. they except 99% of the slip ons out there to help you get the look and sound you are looking for. Or if you like the Rinehart 3.5" mufflers I can get you an amazing deal on that full system.

MGS True Duals gets my vote. Sound great, Not obnoxiously loud when cruising though, so you can still hear your tunes, and has a stepped header for increased performance for a true dual setup.

MGS here too but if you insist, they do make duals with the cross over. Your defeating your purpose though because your lose hp/tq compared to the true duals.
