Cobra Powerport. New pipes and shields. They have a powerport between the 2 headers and a new full dia pipe running under the bike for the left side exhaust. Quality chrome finish and resonably priced if you search the web. Got mine for about $325. Quiet as stock til you rap the throttle then they produce a nice bark!

I preferred the looks of the Dresser Duals from V&H and didn't mind losing a couple hp vs. the performance version.
I disagree. A true dual means separate mufflers and pipes for each cylinder bank. A crossover or X-pipe is simply a performance option for true duals or 2 into 1s.
Cars/trucks have crossovers and X-pipes but they still have dual exhaust systems.
"True Dual" has no crossover- a crossover is a pipe through which the headers are connected
a true dual is 1 header and muffler for each cylinder.
a system with a crossover would be a 2/1/2 ( like stock style) where the 2 headers from the cylinders merge into 1 chamber, which then splits into 2 headers for the mufflers
or a 2 into 1 - 2 headers into a chamber with 1 muffler
