True dual with crossover is an oxymoron. Either true dual or duals with crossover. Either one you want V&H gets my vote. I have the dresser true duals and really like them. Others have the power duals with crossover and like them.

I'm looking into the Jackpot headers from Fuel Moto for my 2012 Ultra this spring. They look great and they have a great performance reputation. When I delt with Jamie a few years back the service was top notch also which is huge for me.

I just had the V&H Big Shot Duals installed on my2011 Street Guide. Rode it home and since it's been raining, snowing or too cold. Tomorrow it's suppose to be in the 60's so I may get a chance to go for a ride and see how they do.

Cobra Powerport. New pipes and shields. They have a powerport between the 2 headers and a new full dia pipe running under the bike for the left side exhaust. Quality chrome finish and resonably priced if you search the web. Got mine for about $325. Quiet as stock til you rap the throttle then they produce a nice bark!

If you like the stock look, FullSac is what I run.

I have V&H Dresser Duals now, but I would like to migrate to MGS if I ever get a few bucks ahead. If I was going to 2-1-2 headpipe, I would definitely look at Fullsac DX.

I preferred the looks of the Dresser Duals from V&H and didn't mind losing a couple hp vs. the performance version.

or a 2 into 1 - 2 headers into a chamber with 1 muffler

I disagree. A true dual means separate mufflers and pipes for each cylinder bank. A crossover or X-pipe is simply a performance option for true duals or 2 into 1s.

Cars/trucks have crossovers and X-pipes but they still have dual exhaust systems.
