After-market Fairing Wiring???
#11
I built my own fairing and chose not to use the Acc switch. I directly wired it to the battery with an in-line fuse and ran the wire under the gas tank where I have a quick disconnect on the right side of the bike by the steering neck of the frame. My fairing has a main switch built into it to turn the power on and off to the power block.

Thanks to all for the info - after I priced it all out (wiring, deutch connectors, in-line fuses, etc.) the Dead Center harness was $12 more than what it would be to build one so I went that route - bought the 6 pin version so it has 2 in line fuses (one for the head unit and one for the amp).

I have a fairing coming from Woodys soon and will have the exact same issues. Did you happen to take any pics of how you did the wiring? Any advice appreciated.
