Default Anybody using S&S Power Tune Duals

I am thinking about ordering a set of S&S power tune duals for a 2008 Streetglide. I have CFR slip-ons for mufflers. Just wondering if anybody has these on a 2008 or older bike. S&S states they get 8 HP over stock header. I really like the look of the 2-1-2 header with crossover to make it look like the newer headers. Being a 2-1-2 header, i think it should get better low end than true duals also. Looking for some advice.

If you do order it get a sound clip. Curious to hear how it sounds with CFRs. I have the S&S headpipe with Bassani mufflers. It is a 2-1-2 headpipe they say but from my personal findings it is mainly a 2-2 with a little "crossover" chamber that is like 3-4"s by .5" wide between the two pipes, and the two pipes never cross paths. Kind of misleading when compared to a true 2-1-2 with an x or something in it. I love the sound of it and have a friend considering the same head pipe and CFRs.

This is on my to do list. Seems like very few forum members have run this head pipe. I'm currently running a Bub 7 true duals set up. The Bub seems to preform well and sounds good, but I often wonder if I'm sacrificing some low end torque using the true dual setup. I'd be interested to hear what others that have used the S&S head pipe have to say.

I found them on Amazon for $420 with free shipping, thats not to bad compared to ebay places that are getting minimum $460. Just would like to really know of someone who has them on a pre-2008 touring with 96" to see if they really get that extra power out of them. Also, thanks for the info. about the 2-1-2 design. I really couldn't tell on the s&s site because they don't show behind the heat shields.

I have the S and S on my Road King and I am very happy with them. They sound better than stock and I noticed a little more power. You will not regret buying them.

I have them on my '08 and really like them. They sound way better than stock and like others have said you will feel some increase in power.
