I'm not sure what you guys are talking about my lifeproof mount has form and function in my eyes. my cable going to my radio is nice and hidden. Its about $30 bucks for the clip and the case has taken a beating while its not on my bike. mounted on my bike i can change to the next song while keeping both hands on my bars and my eyes on the road. If you guys are on the fence about buying it go to your local bestbuy pick it up andif you dont like it just return it.
I can assure you is that this mount will hold up way better than any other on the market right now, HANDS DOWN. With the phone locked in there there is no way its coming out of there without you wanting it to.
