Cost to paint CVO speaker boxes?
#11
The price of paint thinner, paint, and hardener has increased significantly over the last couple years.
With that said, I would say that 100 would be fair. I gave my painter 200 to paint the lowers and pods vivid. They both needed primed and paint. He's a good friend that owns a large collision company, when I went to pick up the parts I asked, "How much do I owe you?" He said, whatever you think it's worth, Don. So I handed him 200, which I thought was fair.
As a suggestion, find a local paint supply store, take a look at their car door molding. Wrapping the edge of the lower before installing the pod helps protect the edge of the lower from your boots, and it adds nice finished look to them.
