Thats what the saddlebags are for!!!! My tourpac isnt always on my bike and by your avitare picture yours isnt either....

Is this turning into one of those threads where there is only one correct way to do something?

 

my tourpac is on a shelf in the garage in 3 pieces. i have a small leather tool pouch tied to the cross bar the liscense plate mounts to. i carry some plastic zipties, a pair of gloves, clear glasses, and a stereo remote in the bags

 

About five pairs of gloves, a couple hats, a rag, a siphon hose,some Lucas fuel treatment for ethanol,owners manual ins and registration. I think that's about it?

 

I have my old road king saddle bag lid storage pouches on the sides. I keep small things in there like my windshield rain repellent, small tools, knife, un lined gloves, leather kerchief, micro fibre towel, ect. ect.

I like to leave the rest empty for my helmets.
