Interesting thread - I had no idea so many people kept so much stuff in there.

Always wondered what most carry in there..... looks like mostly "everything you own",lol. I may get a tour pack in the future for long trips, but don't see much use for around town. I try to carry only necessities locally.

I carry most stuff in the saddlebags, leave the tour pack for locking helmets up, gloves, maybe some sunglasses. The stuff in the saddlebags is the stuff I don't need every time I stop, go in somewhere etc. I also like to keep as little weight as I can in the tour pack, not a big difference but I can tell when it's loaded.

Maps, taillight bulb, tools, jacket, gloves, clear glasses, maybe a beer cuzzy or 2.

My tour pack has nothing except essential supplies in it.

A lot of junk I guess that my wife and I like to have quick access to.
Glasses, maybe another shirt, camera, Ipod goes in there when we stop.
Water, when it's hot outside, parts sometimes..
Groceries sometimes too.
It's a multi-purpose unit and it was probably one of if not the most useful mods that I did.
Tools go in the saddlebags.

I only put the tour pack on the 1990 for some of the longer rides, so its pretty much left open for some extra clothes and whatever i pick up along the way.

I have two saddlebags. One is for the ice and limes, and the other has the red Dixie Cups.
