Noise Bill

it is amazing what you clowns in crapofornia cause--you are the trendsetters for the whole nation. laws passed there usually end up across the country in a few years. if i never hear another bike with loud obnoxious pipes, you will be a large part of the reason. so thank you very much. a nice quiet little rumble is fine, but hearing you coming from 3 blocks away is not.

Old news.
That bill was signed into law by then Governor Schwarzennger about two years ago and became effective two weeks ago. The original version also included smog testing motorcycles but thankfully with the help of ABATE and BOLT that part was removed before it went to the Governor.

Like it or not, we bikers must take some responsibility on the loud pipe issue. There should be some limits on loudness and those who persist on blaring pipe noise that offend are only adding to the problem that will cause all of us to be subject to unfair laws that restrict the use of non OEM pipes.

Californication doing it to us again. The Calicommies nancy poloci nut cases. They make me sick. There is already laws on the books for excessive noise. I keep my noise level down when need be and have respect for other people. Just dont put new laws dampering my proformance package.

I moved from the "Leftcoast" after 26 years just because of the police state rules and regulations.
I will have my bike as loud as I want it. If you dont like it tuff ****. Do I respect my neighbors??? Hell yeah I do just as they respect me. I am not out to change my surroundings!!!!! so dont try to change mine! If I find my self in your world and dont like it or cant "handle" it, I move on to where my "kind" are appreciated or tolerated. and viceaversa, When you move into my neighborhood I expect the same.
Loud pipes save lives. BTW --My dogs bark too! LOL

i agree that there needs to be some sort of limit. but it needs to be acceptable. 0200 is not the time to be bouncing off the rev limiter doing burnouts or stoplight drags
especially some of these douchbags...rockets and cruisers alike. the 'hey look at me' crowd is what it needs to be aimed at
