I did two things. The day I brought the bike home I took the seat off and lowered the riding height by 3"s and a couple months later I purchased a 6" black windshield off Ebay. Now, no buffeting and I look right over the shield.

I got alot of turbulence around my glasses with the stock shield......bought an 8" smoked from Fastaire and love it. I can still see over the top and it still looks pretty sporty.

I’m 6’1” and the wind hits me right between the eyes if I sit up straight like a State Trooper. If I slouch like a biker it hits my helmet and goes right over. Personally I don’t mind the wind as I’m used to a Sportbike windshield, if you could call it that. My buddy is getting an 8” so we’ll see if it changes my mind. Then again the only reason I got a Harley was for image and mystic. I’ll probably keep the 4” pretend-a-shield because it looks tough...
