I have a 96 with Rineharts with VH Power duals on now, Im doing a 103 stage 2 this winter and am thinking about changing the slipons at the same time.
I like the soundclips I have heard of the CFR pipes but it is pretty hard to really judge by that.
I don't want anything louder than what I have now because I do a lot of 8-12 hour rides and don't need the headache.
Anyone able to comment on the comparison?

 

I had Rineharts and now have CFR's. Yes they are a little louder but with a deeper rumble.

 

Deeper more than louder but just a bit louder. Worth it

From what I have read, that is the older ones.
Do you say this from personal experience?

 

My friend had a set on his 95" build and his low end torque always dipped when he had them. acording to the dyno sheet. not sure if his were the old or new style but pretty sure it was the old. They always sounded amazing though.
