Default help , fork brg access

How do you get to the fork bearing adjusting nut on a 07 road glide.
Do you have to remove the fairing?

thanks.

Yes, you do...

Right after you purchase a service manual.

Make that a factory service manual! It will tell you all you need to know and help you get through any sleepless nights.....

Snap-on makes a very nice tool to move the preload spanner. Only about 20 some odd dollars and it makes the adjusting process MUCH easier.

You DO NOT have to remove the fairing to adjust the steering neck bearing tension on a Road Glide.

Remove the key lock along with the speedo and tach assembly plus take the handlebars loose. You need to loosen the bottom fork tube pinch bolts so as not to bind the triple trees when you tighten the bearings as well.
