I have seen a grease gun extension that looks like a football needle, for example...
I believe Granger carries them for special applications.
All the time! the outer dust cover can be removed and the bearings can be repacked.

From UrbanDictionary

Knackered
1. Exhausted
2. Sexually spent
3. Reprimanded
4. Broken / malfunctional
1. I was knackered when I got in from work.
2. After my seventh ejaculation I was well and truly knackered.
3. The teacher caught us smoking and now we're going to get really knackered.
4. I tried to fix my dad's PC but now it's more knackered than ever.

Great to know! I have heard of folks finding their bad bearings very dry, with no sign of any grease, ever. Wouldn't surprise me.
This is one route I had thought about going, with good high temp syn bearing grease with good tack...

my 09 classic has 57k on stock rear bearings and still feel smooth. i carefully took a dentist pick and pried off one of the seals, took a needle grease tip the one that looks like a regular needle, pushed it down between each bearing , squeezed untill grease came up to the top, replaced seal. done this at around 20k and still perfect. factory only puts in enough to say its greased.

My 06' E-Glides are still running smooth at 70K. I have never pressure washed them or my scoot, and feel that is suspect on pushing water past the front seals. IMHO
