front wheel bearings

Just had mine checked on my '06 (older type bearings), they were fine with 35K on them.

50k+ on mine and still running the originals.

Bearings for my bike cost between $20.00 and $25.00 depending on where you look even the dealer falls in this range.

I choose to just change them with the tires.

If you keep doing that you will wear out the bearing bore.

the newer 25mm bearing are junk, don't worry about the bearing bores,more worried about my life going down the road on defective wheel bearings. harley needs to come up with a good replacement for this crap their putting in these bikes.

I have heard and seen pics of these and along with TBW, and cush drive I wont buy a newer style bike. But cant thses bearings be converted to the 1" and be done with it?

That sounds like an overly aggressive course of action to me.
