Got mine from E-Bay, very cheap but took a lot of work. If you have the time and knowhow you can save a butt load of money, otherwise buy from a reputable site.

I thought long and hard about getting 4" stretched bags but decided to go with CVO bags. My Fat Boy is lowered and scraped pegs allot, really was a pain riding with groups especially in windys. I can enjoy my SG in the windys now, much happier not worrying about scraping. Got the bags from Eastern Performance for $750 painted.

I've posted these in other threads, but I said I'd update so...

These are my V-Twin CVO-style bags from Eastern Performance. $365 shipped. My auto body guy painted 'em for nothing. They are PERFECT. No issues whatsoever- construction, fit, finish, etc. All hardware mated up perfectly. All holes lined up. Cannot be happier.

I originally wanted 4" stretched bags but wifey screwed up and ordered the CVO's instead (for Christmas). I WAS gonna send em back but the more I looked at 'em, the more I liked the flow of the line from 1"-3" stretch. And they're just low enough to cover the swingarm/brake disc, etc but not effect cornering IN ANY WAY WHATSOEVER.

Thanks man. Bars came from a company called BukyBars.com..vendor at the Long Beach MC Swapmeet. 18" x 1.5" meat hooks. I believe price was $325.
