Winter Project.......
Last year in May I purchased a '04 FLHTCUI that already had some work done to it but I had different plans for it... I purchased it mostly because the engine and forks were already powdercoated which saved me alot of time...
This is my first Harley and my first bike I've done any work to.. In the past I mostly rode only sport bikes and have modded a handful of cars (mostly F-bodies and Corvettes)
What the bike looked like originally....
I purchased it looking like this....
After lining up all the new parts and before paint....
Stripped down again....
I got all my painted parts back last week and spent a good amount of this past weekend putting it back together... I also upgraded with basically the Paul Yaffe sound system.. All Rockford Fosgate front and rears and amp, sounds amazing. I'm just waiting for a few LED bulbs for my guages so I can mount the front fairing back on.

I never cease to be amazed at what some of the members of this forum can create. I like that bike, a lot. I just don't have that "thing" that would ever let me "see" that prior to embarking upon the project.
Everybody has a Harley. You have a bike that would make me stop what I was doing to look at it.

Thanks for the compliments!!
And yes, I enjoy making my rides look different but with taste. I'm hoping I've succeeded. I'll post more pictures when I get the batwing back on.
Neal Smith, you would not imagine how hard it was to find those pipes in black for my year bike.. V&H discontinued making them in black for anything before '08 models.
