Default Brake pads

I've always just stuck with the OEM stock brake pads on my bikes and not had any issues. However, on my 2010 Street glide, my brakes are the exception. They squeek. I've done all of the fixes ie chamfered the leading edge, installed quiet brake on the back of the pads lubed the slider pins etc. All work for a short time but not permanently. My buddies does the same thing as do others I've heard. What pads besides HD are others running because of the same issues? Lyndal...organic or sintered? Any suggestions based on personal experience is appreciated. These are ABS brakes. Thanks

I have 30,000 miles on the OEM pads, will go back with them. No issues.

I run OEM. But a few friends run Lyndall. You can call them or go online & give them your info & they'll get you all dialed in.

I, too, run the Lyndall Z+ but I still have dust especially on the rear. They also squeak occasionally but nowhere near as much as the OEM. I'll use them again when it's time to change.

Everyone's go'n recommend Lyndall, but I had bad luck with them the noise they made drove me nuts! EBC'S are my pads of choice quiet and last a long time.

I have had success with OEM and Lyndall as far as no squeaking. I went to Lyndall in hopes of reducing dust. I have had the ZPlus and the Gold versions. The ZPlus seemed to produce less dust, but not as much stopping power when wet as the Golds. Golds produce dust, so next time I change them I don't know what I may do. Looking at EBCs.

I didnt care for Lyndalls either, especially in the rain. My OEM squeeked, thats why I changed.
I said "hell with it" and went back to OEM and now no squeek and not using any anti-squeel materials. Go figure.
