Non ABS wheel on a ABS bike ???
I bought a used rear mag non ABS wheel for a Street Glide cheap on eBay, $37. I planned on chrome plating it and putting it on my 09 Street Glide which does have ABS.
Anyone know if I can use a non ABS wheel on a bike with ABS? If so, what parts I need to make it work? I work nights so I haven't had a chance to ask any service/part guys at the dealer.

One question is...why buy an incorrect wheel for plating when there's so many options available to exchange yours..??

Got the wheel so cheap. There is 2 local chrome platers by me that I thought I could get that done cheap as well. You don't see much of the rear now and I want to get CVO or extended bags in the future so I don't want to drop that much $$ into something that is hidden.

All you have to do is install the ABS bearing as mentioned earlier...The wheels are the same the bearing is all that is required...The bearings will have to be removed from the wheel you are having chromed any way...Be sure to have someone that knows what they are doing install the bearings.
