Default Best handle bar mount for GoPro on bat wing

I have a 12 FLHXSE3. I'm headed to Alaska in June. Want to mount my GoPro Hero 2 to my bars so I can turn it on and off on the fly to conserve battery life. I have read a lot about vibration from bar mounts. Just wondering what others have had success with. I tried the search but didn't have much luck.

Thanks

RAM mounts. Do a search here on what Dr. Tiki uses. I use the same set up. He has a post in which he lists the part nos. I also have a helmet mount which works quite well too.

Ive used the Gopro seatpost mount on the engine guard and it works well. Gets a little of the front fender and wheel and a nice view in front of the bike

I've used another type of mount for this perspective and i find it far more interesting than the same bug smear on the windscreen.

I agree this type of mount and location would have the best overall perspective but I don't want to have to lean down and out that far to reach the power button on the front of the camera.

I used the adhesive mount on the back of a stock mirror I can turn it on and off or turn it sideways to shoot the side of the road if I want. I just couldnt bring myself to stick it to my helmet. vibration not as big a issue as the paralex(?) distortion. if you look at my avatar you can see it on the L hand mirror
