installing rush slip on's
#2
Super easy install. IMO go to your HD Dealer and buy two new exhaust clamps that may take you longer than the actual install. When you get home, take off both saddle bags with the quick release pins inside your bags. Place the bags in a safe place where they wont get scratched up. I personally lay out a nice blanket on the garage floor to set them on. One muffler clamp on each pipes needs to be loosened along with two nuts holding the muffler under the saddle bags which you just removed. Your Rush Mufflers may or may not have come with new nuts to use if not just reuse the two you just removed. I've had mufflers slide right off or be a bit more work either way they will come off. Use the new muffler clamps on your new Rush Mufflers tighten everything down and you are set. If you take your time it's about a 30 minute job.
Good luck, and if you have any questions reach out to us here and we will help.

I took my Rush slip ons off for a 2 into 1 set up, but you should be able to install them yourself. Use the Rush instructions along with the Harley Service Manual(a must have for any Harley owner) and go for it. You will need a torque wrench, but with the money you save by doing it yourself you will own a new tool if you do not have one already. Be sure to tightened the clamps down that attach the mufflers to the Harley pipes to the proper specs because that is where the Rush slip ons sometimes have exhaust leaks.
