Default Road King Rear Air Shocks

Anyone know off the top of their head what the max PSI you can pump the rear air shocks up to? Can't find it in my manual off hand.

Absolute highest p.s.i. is 50, but thats is for only haling max weight and top g.v.w. They recomend 35-40 for two up riding.

My shop manual says 35 max on standard shocks and 50 max on low profile at max gvwr.

My manual suggests 15 psi for two up riding. Not sure about max.

The letter after b and the letter after w do not work on my key board so disregard spelling.

Here is your answer right from the 2005 owners manual:

Solo rider up to 150 lbs 0
Solo rider 150-200 0-10
Solo rider 200-250 5-15
Rider w/passanger up to 150 10-15
Rider w/pass up to 200 20-25
Mak GVWR 20-35

These numbers are for a standard Roadking, and not the FLHRS. The FLHRS has different numbers, I guess due to the lowered shoks.

Regards,

Bill

Not sure about your bike but mine has a sticker inside the hard saddlebag with the pressures. My book says 35max.

Yeah my bike is a classic, so it didn't come with the bags I have on it now, and I sold the leather bags a long time ago. So I was trying to find it in my manual but still haven't come accross it, I am probably looking right at it and just not seeing it.
