Default CVO Ultra console insert on an Ultra???

Looking to dress up this very bland area. No real aftermarket options out there other that the glass ones. So I am looking at possibly swapping over to the CVO console insert. Is this a direct fit in the stock Ultra tank console or will I need to replace the whole thing?? Also this year it is a spun aluminum look to match the gauges. Were the previous years the same or have they changed over the life of the CVO Ultra??

It's just an insert that fits in to your console. It's also a restricted part that you can't buy without giving them a serial number of your CVO bike.

If you're talking about the ribbed 1" wide strip down the middle, I swapped mine on my Ultra for the smooth one that comes on the Limited, not sure if its the same as the CVO one. Looks much better.

I actually like the ribbed aluminum insert on mine. But I wouldn't mind getting rid of the headset plug that I'll never use.

Any pics? I have the smooth on my limited but I'm always up for a change.

I want to change the whole insert. Especially the drab black surround. That is why I was thinking of the CVO insert.
