Default Leather Vests

I am looking for a leather vest that I can wear when I ride that conceals my handgun. In the summer I usually carry a fannypack but I am interested in finding another way to carry that is more comfortable. I hope I am not opening a can of worms here.

Sam,

No personal experience, general public don't get to own handguns over here (UK), but there is some info here:

contact Allen at (800)-730-7722 http://www.johnsonleather.com/index.html

Tell him the TurlockFire fighter sent ya... He will make you a vest with a leather reinforced inside pocket - works great with a Glock27 - infact he still has the mold for that weapon...

You will NOT find better customer service

Gall's, Inc., has them. I believe Sportsmansguide.com has them too.

I have two of their vests, one denim and one leather.

Excellent quality and great service.

I use a galco "ultra deep cover inside the pant" holster. I buy the opposite hand holster and keep in in the small of the back (more comfortable then you'd think). That way I can still tuck my tee in and/or cover with the vest.

Leave the weapon at home! You think your John Wayne?

Does your agency require that you carry @ all times? Or you just like the power?

If I have to carry when I ride, I no longer need to ride!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Enjoy the ride, one less thing you have to worry about!

Now I wonder how many other Rickies carry when they ride....maybe I should start just in case I run across you dummies!
