Gotta love these "mileage threads". It's kinda like "oil".
You will never get two same answers, way too many variables for comparison.
Depends on driving style or habits, two-up or solo, ambient temps, weight, road conditions, elevation, engine modifications, head winds, fuel quality, tires, which bandana you are wearing today, facial hair, fingerless gloves or full fingered gloves, if the passenger is wearing a thong or granny panties, party affiliation, religion, or sleeveless t-shirt choice.
Just ride and make sure to fill 'er up when the little warning light comes on.

2011 Ultra Limited, 103, running 13.8/1 cruise range AFR.
The only time I ever monitor fuel mileage closely is when I go on long trips. In roughly 20,000 miles of those my overall average for individual trips range from 34.2 to 38.9. Most of these miles are at about 10 over the speed limit or between 75 and 90 MPH depending on location.
Individual tanks vary so much (barely 30 to almost 50 MPG) it's hard to get an accurate indication.

why would you care about gas mileage? you have a 6 gallon tank--you are not going to run out of gas unless you really have your head in a dark smelly place. speed, wind, winter/summer gas formulation, altitude, solo/2 up, brand of gas, shift points, etc. are going to cause mileage to vary greatly. my wife's toyota corolla gets better mileage than my bike. not many people buy a bike for gas mileage.
