Missing the point, I would like to know what the stock wrist angle is so I can compare it to the aftermarket bars before making a purchase.

With the bars laying on the forward side flat on a level work bench, they are about 42*

The angle does suck

Thanks that's all I was looking for. +1 for simply answering the question.

Or perhaps, dig through the annals looking for handlebar threads.

Many, including myself favor the Khromewerks Sweepers +2 as we want to keep our hands in the pocket of the fairing.

Understand that with a fairing your choices are rather limited, that is again if you want to stay in the pocket of the fairing.

However, if you don't mind the obtrusive "bug look" of the mirrors that stick out or over the top of your fairing, and look like antennas, and don't mind having to change your stock "mickey mouse shaped" mirrors which are lame anyway, then you can get away with "apes" which many favor, but then you have to run your mirrors either up side down which looks lame too,or look under your arms but many accept this and say that they need their mirrors, which we all do and should use our mirrors, it's just that there is a better choice for mirrors too other than the stockers.

A pic of mine showing the KW Sweepers and the Wicked Image Fast Lane Mirrors that I use. They stick out a little further on the sides than do the stockers giving you a better view of what's coming up on your ***.

Thanks for not answering the question yet finding a way to shove your personal tastes down my throat like the fact that you don't like the ape over the fairing look or the lame mickey mouse shaped stock mirrors with doesn't help me at all.

FYI I have been surfing through handlebar threads for weeks including over an hour this morning. I know what I want, apes around 12" high will allow me to keep the stock mirrors which I want. Now I simply need to narrow it down to a set with a comfortable wrist angle which is why I asked about the wrist angle on the stock bars in the first place.

Have a great day.

Well, if you gotta SG with stock bars then why don't you know what angle that they are?

Personal tastes, yep, that's what it's all about..
Your welcome. I'll try to remember that..next time you ask a question.
Best way is to figure it out on your own. FWIW.

Swervy, here's something else to think about:
The angle of the stock bars might not give you the same comfort after you raise them up to the 12" mark - you may want a more shallow bend.
I know, thanks for making it so much easier with yet another variable.
Sorry, and you're welcome.
