Took my last ride Thursday, got 18,000 miles for the season. Changed my primary & trans oil. Then Friday my dealer picked up the bike for storage. Sunday night - Monday got a foot of snow. $250 for pick up, wash wax, oil change, battery tender, heated storage, yada, yada, yada. Hope they can get to the bottom of my intermittent heated grips problem.

Mine is ready to ride...sunny here as usual. Might rain tomorrow night and Friday...we judge the inches by how many of them there are between the drops.

Happy Holidays from Phoenix!!

Just got a ride in. 52 and sunny but 25+ mph wind out of the south with a 42 degree windchill. Did about 20 miles. Not complaining at all, it's WINTER here in Iowa lol.

The shops in WV off winter storage as well for around $300.
If you have some significant work done on your bike like cams, engine rebuild, and other mods during it's storage time they will put the storage fee down on the cost of your mods.
However, I got to have my baby in the garage so I can tinker with it all winter.

All tucked away for the winter, till after a good rain to get rid of the road salt in, whenever that'll be. 350 storage fee at my dealer, but free in my heated shop/garage

On a related note: How hard is the salt on the Harleys? I'm a lifelong rider but new to the H-D world and am reluctant to give it up for the winter. Too much fun. Literally everyone that I know in this area who rides H-D tells me the salt will destroy the bike in short order and I am a fool to keep riding. To some degree, that could be true or not based on the quality of the chrome/paint/and zinc coatings, etc.
Would love to get others opinions on this.
