I have a 2010 FLHR and was looking at the nostalgic saddlebag guards # 91286-09. I know the new frames came in on 2009 and was wondering if anyone has installed the 91286-09 or tried on a 2010. The harley listing states only for 2009 however they state that the 91286-10 saddlebag guards will fit from 2009 and up. What is the difference between the two guards. Any help would be appreciated.

 

91286-09 is obsolete and was superseded to a -09A and then to a -10.

I've seen a lot of those nostalgic bars mounted crooked. I don't know if it was a sloppy installation or the part itself. Hopefully the newest version mounts properly. Joe

 

I plan to remove mine on my 2010 FLHTCU & install the filler strips & rear fascia. They are in perfect condition. PM me if you are interested.
