Abrupt/Twitchly Throttle response TBW
Anybody experience this with your new bikes? I have a Powervision with a stage 1.
My bike likes to buck like a bronco "and no Im not lugging the bike" Seems to get better in higher revs but it is still twitchy. Not very confidence inspiring when putting power through the corners.
The cable actuation on my Dyna was better.

as i posted in the other thread, maybe your tbw needs to be inspected. The throttle being so "twitchy" that it causes problems when applying power in corners is not normal behavior for the throttle by wire. My bike and other new bikes ive ridden have all performed on par with cable actuated bikes

I ran into a guy at Myrtle Beach (Murrels Inlet actually) that had a brand new bike, it had some kind of bad chip that caused his TBW to be jerky, he took it in, the replaced the chip and boom, smooth easy operation. Worth checking out

Twitchy throttles are part of the electronic throttle system. It’s not that they are twitchy, but that there is a delay and when the throttle does finally kick in, you’ve added too much gas for the situation. Not everyone feels it because they ride less aggressively. But it is very noticeable and annoying when trying to accelerate out of a turn.
I’m told, and it makes sense to me, Harley programmed the throttle that way to get better gas mileage by averaging out spikes the rider applies in traffic. Car manufacturers also program the delays in most of their cars today. The Mustang delay is just as bad.
I’m getting better in corners now by applying some throttle and waiting for the reaction before applying more. But I sure miss my cable throttle on my 02.
