I'm not a fan at all of the 26" wheels on a bagger but I have to say it doesn't look so out of place on that one. I guess it's the rake.

....Easy fella

as for the guys that comment on how you couldn't tour across the counrty on it... i don't think the guy that built it really cares.. It a custom..not a touring bike....sure it started as a touring bike, but do you think touring was really the guys priority when he cut the neck off?

ever seen a 57 Chevy with no hood, tubbed rear and a big block with a blower and dual quads sticking up to the roof line? That car started as a gentleman's sedan..... you think thats what the current owner wants from it?

as for the bike....my only comments woulld be that the black wiring harness sticks out like a sore thumb against that s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d out neck on the orange frame...
oh and i suspect, although i 'm not sure if i saw it, but i suspect it has a stock rear wheel on it....
all to common latley...$50,000 custom with a stock wheel, really?

Beautiful custom, but I agree - not my gig.

With all the work put into the bike I wonder why they didn't shave off the unused front brake caliper mount? Another couple things were the stock levers and kick stand....yeah I know it's nit-picking...but isn't that what you do when looking at a custom creation.

Well this is my first custom I built. Why did I leave the stock rear? Because I'm not gonna waste my money on a wheel no one can see. I sold this bike for 23k, it doesn't have the best of everything, I made do with what I had. Next one I will shave the fork and run the harness in the frame. I could jump on this bike and trek 4000 miles but don't get me wrong, I doubt is even do that on a stock bike. Lol.

I was nit-picking, but I do like the look of the bike and the fact that you committed 100% to the design.

I wish I had the $$$, skills and time to build a custom.

Good luck with the next one!
