Default true dual ?

I have a 07' SG,103" stage II kit, SE 255 camswith V&H trueduals, Rinehart slip-ons, and SERT,I went with the true duals because the right sideRH end cap turned to a bronze color(it was actuallynot a bad color but did not go well with black pearl),I figured it turned colordue to the heat so I changed to the true duals, plus less heat on the leg andI thought I would get a much better sound. Idid haveadyno tune performed.

MY question is, I now have an irritating crackling sound on decel, (not apopping back fire type of noise), is this just normal for true duals. There was no crackling sound from the slip-ons before I went with the V&H.The bike runs smooth and strong.

Thanks for any feed back

Popping is a lean condition. The crackling is normal. I loved that sound and will miss it.

I am jealous. I have my '07 RKC in storage still (live in NH). I had the 110 kit installed, along with Rinehart TD and SERT. I have yet to hear let alone ride with the new engine/pipe/air cleaner/SERT combo.

I am jonesing to ride! 7 weeks until Spring!

When I had my Rineharts I had the same situation, when I went with a complete 95" motor package my tuner really talked me out of them, he may have been right, but I still miss them,

Yeah, the way global warming is going i will be livingI the tropics soon!

So far, pretty mild winter here this year.I was hoping for snow, but not much so far.

Too much salt/sand on the road, though.
