I had the same problem with my slip-ons. When my Indy finally replaced my headers (which I believe is a "true" design flaw) and put the same clamps back on I asked him what he thought of the "non-resuable" HD clamps. He looked at me like I was crazy and just shrugged his shoulders. He must have torqued 'em down real good because they haven't moved in over 5K miles. I think this is another one of the moco's planned replacement designs. I'd say it's a flawed design to have to replace a clamp every time you loosen it but since I believe that aspect is purposely designed into the product you really can't call it a flaw.

Money suckin' leaches they are. But I love their sickles.

No, it is not that simple. Like I stated previously I replaced mine only to have it happen again.
