Default ABS and Cruise

I'm looking at buying a new decker next spring. A couple of options available are Cruise and ABS.
I don't do a lot of interstate riding although I will take the slab if necessary. Trips could be a couple of days to a week or more. Other than that it's local riding sometimes with the OL on the back.

What are the thoughts on the two options. Necessary? Nice to have? Something else to go wrong??

Cruise is a godsend for long rides.

ABS I could take or leave, although if you ever decide to sell the bike you could consider it a must have.

So get 'em both.

Personally, I won't buy another bike without both those options. I do a couple of extended trips each year, but I use the cruise a lot while in town.

My 2012 Ultra Classic is the first bike I've ever had that has ABS and cruise. I don't think I'll ever want another without those options. Either I'm becoming more comfortable with new technology or I'm getting old!!
