Default JRI 12" B's delivered - pics

Some quick cell pics of what was delivered today. JRI 12" B shocks from Howard at motorcyclemetal. I will try to give a quick description of what I can recall. JRI is the new company making shocks for our street bikes, some of the engineers/designers/fabricators that use to work for Penske are now known as JRI. People in the suspension business say these 12" B shocks should be $1300 shocks but because JRI is not as well known yet the shocks are selling in the upper $700 range. I am not saying that is not a lot of coin, only trying to show the value that will soon be climbing. I doubt in 2014 you will be able to get these shocks for that price.

They are 100% made in the USA and made of billet material, simply a work of art and quality just looking at them. It really is a shame my saddlebags will be hiding these great looking shocks. Everyone that has put on the JRI's have been very pleased with them so it sounds like they perform as good as they look.

And they ride better than they look! Before I installed them on my SG I got a pretty rough ride especially 2 up, setting to different air pressures helped little, but I installed the 12" B's and really got amazing results after I dialed in the dampening. Much better than I expected. Now my front forks are at Howards getting Race Tech upgrades.

Look just like mine but shorter, you're gonna love them. Mine are still breaking in and it's like a completely different bike. I can't believe the handling and how much smoother the ride is, whether 2-up or solo.

Congrats!

I've got close to 1000 miles on my 13" B's and like them very much. The bike is stable, rough washboard road sections are not harsh and my Corbin saddle almost feels soft! LOL

Once you get the set up, you will love the ride. They are indeed works of art!
